Sidley Rec – Public Consultation!

Come and have your say!

Heart of Sidley and Rother District Council would like to invite you to join us on Saturday 12th August at Sidley Recreation Ground, 11am-3pm.

Not only do we have our fantastic SeaMagic Sidley Festival, with free street theatre, music and childrens’ activities, we will also have a stall for public consultation on our proposals for the redevelopment of the old toilet block into a community hub, cafe and improved changing facilities, as well as improved pitch and parking spaces, funded through the Levelling Up Fund award.

You are an important local voice to these redevelopments, and we’d really value your thoughts and feedback in our consultation.

Heart of Sidley in London!

On Tuesday 25th April Lynda Harvey, Heart of Sidley Partner, accepted a kind invitation from Big Local and travelled to London to attend the Community Wealth Fund Parliamentary Reception!

Matt Leach, Chief Executive of Big Local, opened the event where several MPs, including Paul Howell MP, gave speeches about the CWF.

This was a wonderful opportunity for the Heart of Sidley, Lynda was able to meet with others who had travelled to the event, and spread the word about Sidley and what we do in the community!

A very big thank you to Lynda for representing Heart of Sidley at this amazing event!
